Judy Faye Barneycastle McGee

Mrs. Judy Faye Barneycastle McGee, 78, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Rose Tara Senior Living in King, NC. She was born December 25, 1945, in Surry County to the late Oscar Odell Barneycastle and Hester Lillian Ayers Barneycastle. Judy loved going to church and was a member of Pinnacle Church of God. In addition, she loved her family and enjoyed pier fishing at the beach. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip Wayne McGee; and six siblings. She is survived by her four children, Lynne Stone (Eddie), Bobby Frye (Sheree), Annette Gibson (Dale), and Terry Frye (Natalie); eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five siblings. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Walter Terrell officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM, January 13, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
