Julie Kay Clark

Julie Kay Clark, 69, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. 

A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 am on August 17th at The Winery at Bull Run in Centreville, VA. 

Julie was born April 25, 1955, in Lancaster County, NE, to Harold Leslie Neufeld and Muriel Neufeld. Julie, known as Casey by everyone who knows her, was known for her boundless love for her three children and her deep commitment to her family, which extended to her role as a remarkable grandmother. Her passion for travel was matched only by her dedication to creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Julie's warmth, generosity, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be remembered for her unwavering strength, infectious laughter, and the countless moments of joy she brought to her family.

Left to cherish her memory is one son, Charles Clark and his wife Tanya of Winston Salem; two daughters, Carla Matias and her husband Raul, and Christina Barkhurst and her husband David; four grandchildren, Benjamin Matias, Gabriel Matias, Adalyn Barkhurst, and Braden Barkhurst; one sister, Judith Pickelsimer, and her husband Gary; and four brothers, James Neufeld and his wife Jean, Jerome Neufeld and his wife Alice, John Neufeld, and Jeffrey Neufeld and his wife Lupe.
