June M. Ellarby

Mrs. June M. Ellarby, 90, died peacefully at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on June 1, 2017. She was born on June 29, 1926. June was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, George H. Ellarby. She was a devoted mother to Fred Ellarby (Cathie) and Jennifer Sloan (Norman); a loving grandmother to Colleen Ellarby, Devin Sloan (Danielle); and step-grandmother to Susan Sloan (David Frisco), Emily Hoody-Russell (Chris Russell), and Benjamin Sloan (Emily). She was a wonderful great-grandmother to Liam Christopher Sloan, Asher Frisco, Ester Frisco, Max Hoody, Ayla Hoody, Aidan Russell, Adeline Russell, and Amber Russell. June was a very special aunt to Carole Herbertson (Don), Jocelyn Miller (Bill) and Marilyn Moxam as well as several other nieces and nephews. The family will hold a service in Canada at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mrs. Ellarby.
