Karen Annette White

Karen Annette White, 60, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 25, 1956 in Forsyth County. Karen graduated from Parkland High School in 1974 and attended High Point University. She was a charter member of The Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Hebron United Church of Christ. Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Summerlin White. Surviving are her father, Ray H. ""Bill"" White; a sister, Sharon Fletcher and husband Mark; a niece, Anna Fletcher; two nephews, Adam and Alex Fletcher and a host of other family members and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Hebron United Church of Christ with Rev. Paula A. Wells officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Wake Forest Baptist Health 4th floor ICU and the Select Specialty Hospital at Forsyth Medical Center.
