Mrs. Katherine Sapp Clodfelter, 97, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 13, 1916 in Forsyth County to Ed and Salley Harville Sapp. Mrs. Clodfelter was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was retired from Western Electric with 32 years of loyal service. She loved working in her yard and with her flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers; three sisters; and her husband, Colon Clodfelter. Surviving are one son, Jim Clodfelter and wife Gaye of Arcadia; two grandsons, Mark Clodfelter and wife Rebecca of Jamestown, Joe Clodfelter and wife Anna of Advance; and three great grandchildren, Hannah, Joshua and Aaron. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Brett Kitko officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
