Katherine Jensen Palmer

Mrs. Katherine Jenson Palmer, 88, formerly of Liberty, IN, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born February 20, 1924 in Ida County, Iowa, the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Fay Hare Jenson. Mrs. Palmer was a member of Edwards Memorial Methodist Church in Liberty, IN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Palmer; two sons, Charles Palmer and Vernon Dean Palmer; a grandson, Steven Palmer and two brothers, David Jenson and Vernon Jenson. Survivors include one son, Gale W. Palmer and wife, Eileen of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and one sister, Helen Vohs and husband, Burdell of Battle Creek, Iowa. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at West Point Cemetery in Liberty, IN with Rev. Scott Bell officiating.
