Katherine Warren

Mrs. Katherine Key Warren passed away at home on February 28, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born on February 26, 1933, to Lou Jeanie Goforth Key and Charlie Clinton Key in Forsyth County. Katherine graduated from Gray High School and went on to become a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Lexwin Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Warren; son, Rick Warren; and grandson, Joshua Warren. Surviving are her daughter, Sherri Combs (Tony); grandchildren, Nick Tullock (Melissa), David Warren (Janessa), Kelli Flint (Caity), Jana Clark (Alex); great grandchildren, Caroline Tullock and Grace Tullock; two step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Martin. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, March 3, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Erick Goff and Rev. Mike Hamby officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
