Kathleen Hawks Hedderly

Mrs. Kathleen Hawks Hedderly, 86, of Walkertown, passed away September 30, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hedderly. She is survived by children, Howard (Eileen) Hedderly, Ann Harris, Sue (Rick) Davis, Kathie (Dennis) Bowers, Lisa (Terry) White; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Georgie Bryant and Ethel Rose; brothers, Jack Hawks, Layton (Ozia) Hawks; sister-in-law, Mary (Levi) Thompson; brother-in-law, Mike Hedderly. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Hawks' Family Cemetery with Elder James C. Ball officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. The family would like to extend a special Thanks to the Hospice and Palliative Home Care Stokes Team. Thanks also to the wonderful, caring staff of KBR Hospice Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
