Kathleen "Kitty" Talley Pierce

Kathleen “Kitty” Talley Pierce, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in her home on Thursday, November 13, 2025. She was born in Guilford County on April 5, 1963, to the late Constantine (C.B.) Barker Talley and Bertha (Celia) Lucille Sizemore Talley. Kitty will be remembered for the immeasurable love she had for her family. Above all, she was a woman of God and was anchored in her faith. This faith allowed her to protect and support her family through everything. She was incredibly strong, and throughout the trials and tribulations of battling ovarian cancer, she still gave everything she had to those around her. Kitty will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, John Pierce; their children, John Barker Pierce (Carrie), Jennifer Weekley (Robert), Jessica McCuiston (Joey), and Jacob Kinder Pierce; five grandchildren, Kayli McCuiston, Parker Pierce, Grayson McCuiston, Avery McCuiston, and Easton Weekley; a twin sister, Kathy McDaniel (Randy); a brother, David Talley; a niece, Taylor Fulk (Tanner); a nephew, Shane McDaniel; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family members

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow the funeral service at Mt. Gur Cemetery.
