Kathleen "Kat" Ogburn Krause

Mary Kathleen ""Kat"" Ogburn Krause 92 passed away Friday December 16, 2016.
Kat was born February 15, 1924. She was predeceased by her parents, David Crockett and
Mary Steele Ogburn, 6 brothers and her husband, Edward Lawrence ""Bud"" Krause.
She is survived by two sisters, Betty Lou Flynn and Ginny Ruth Sapp;
two sons, Larry Wayne (Saundra) Krause and Gerald Van (Teresa) Krause;
three grandchildren, Brett Krause, Kevin (Lanny) Krause and Krystal Krause (Rein) Tarikas. six wonderful great grandchildren and one more due in February. She was a member of Advent Moravian Church and was an avid gardener. She was happiest in the yard or the garden.
A graveside service ONLY will be conducted on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Parklawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Tim Sapp officiating. The family wishes NO flowers be sent and make donations to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem or the Moravian Music Foundation.
