Kathleen Vogler Sprinkle

Winston-Salem-Mrs. Kathleen Vogler Sprinkle, 99, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 12, 1918, in Forsyth County to Dallas Wilburn Vogler Sr. and Stella Todd Vogler. She was a longtime member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and served in numerous ministries including Crisis Control, prison outreach, and the United Methodist Women. She was retired from Dewey's Bakery. Devoted to her family and her church, she loved to serve and care for others. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William (W.H.) Henry Sprinkle, Jr. and her sister Juanita Strader. Survivors include her son, William (Bill) Henry Sprinkle, III and wife Elaine of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Dallas (D.W.) Wilburn Vogler, Jr. of Westfield and Donald R. Vogler of Winston-Salem: two grandchildren, William Thomas (Tommy) Sprinkle and wife Jennifer of Winston-Salem and Matthew Lane Sprinkle and wife Holly of Gainesville, FL and five great-grandchildren, William, Margaret (Maggie), Michael, Kathleen (Katie) and Daniel. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marilyn Weiler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
