Kathryn Lambert Motsinger

Kathryn Lambert Motsinger died on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

She was born on February 16, 1930, in Lancaster, South Carolina, to W.P. and Iva Garrison Lambert.

Mrs. Motsinger was as sweet, kind, and gentle as was her voice, and as beautiful on the inside as out. She was instrumental in the everyday workings of the family business. She graduated from Lancaster High School and attended Anderson College. She was married to her husband for 62 years, and was a wonderful, loving, and caring mother. Mrs. Motsinger loved her home, taking care of her family, reading, flowers, and enjoyed drawing, painting, and music. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Motsinger; a sister, Ruth Palmer; and four brothers, Emmitt, Billy, Jack, and Fred Lambert.

Surviving are her one daughter, Laura Jennings; and her son, Steve Motsinger.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. A private service will be held for the family.
