KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Kay Smith Weston, 64, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Kay was born July 20, 1948 in Forsyth County to the late Rufus A. and Betty Vestal Smith. Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Edgar Weston, Jr.; one son, Cecil Ray Tilley, of Yadkinville; one daughter, Carolyn Brown (Wayne) of Sandy Ridge; three grandchildren, Jessica Southerland, Christopher Ray Tilley and Christopher J. Knight; two great grandchildren, Isabella Floyd and Brooks Knight; and one sister, Barbara Branch (Roger); three nieces and two nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Garland Glascoe and Rev. Roger Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the funeral home.
