Kay Boles White, 74, passed away on July 4, 2018, SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin. She was born June 28, 1944 in Forsyth County to the late William and Arron Boles and Vernice Purcell Boles. Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Kay was formerly employed with Old Town Telephone System. She was a member of King of Spades Garden Club in King since 2002. Kay was a member of Extension Community Association of Forsyth County, a member of the North Carolina Gourd Society, and the Southern Charms Red Hats. She loved gardening and crafting. Kay is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Lee White; sister, Tammy Barton; sister-in-law, Wanda White; brother, Kenneth Boles; brother-in-law, Tommy White; daughter, Tina Keaton (Todd Ellison); step-daughter, Tammy White; granddaughter, Brittany Deal (Daniel); grandson, Peyton Ellison; step-grandson, Ian Privette; great-granddaughter, Landry Deal; two nephews, Kyle Boles (Traci) and Keith Boles; and many friends. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Ralph Sproles, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at King Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin, 243 N. Lee Ave., Yadkinville, NC 27055.
