Keith Brewer

Mr. Keith Brewer, 53, was reunited with his father and mother, Bruce and Martha Brewer, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was born in Forsyth County on April 27, 1972. He was always generous with his time and energy, and always ready and willing to help his family, friends and neighbors with anything. He was very involved in Nazareth Lutheran Church’s chicken stew and picked up the reins of helping to cook the chicken stew after his father, Bruce, went home to be with Martha in 2019. Keith also kept his father’s tradition of the annual family chicken stew alive. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and great uncle who will always be remembered as a man with a kind and loving heart. Keith strived to make others feel included and comfortable. His friends have called him family and he himself said that his friends were all extended family to him. Keith proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He is survived by his wife Michelle Brewer; his sister, Tanya Ruhmann (Mark); his two nieces, Nicole Burick (Zach) and Maddie Ruhmann; and his two great nephews, who were an absolute delight, bringing so much joy to his life, Weston and Wyatt Burick. Even though Keith and Michelle were not blessed with children, their family was still full of four legged babies; Semper Fi, Gunner and Teufelshunde (Ty), whom he loved as his children. A celebration of life will be held at the family property, 848/850 Tobaccoville Rd., Rural Hall, NC 27045, at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Nazareth Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 519, Rural Hall, NC 27045.
