Keith Patrick Cannon

Keith Patrick Cannon, 65, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born in Tulsa, OK, on October 1, 1959, to the late Francis “Frank” and Doris Deal Cannon.

Keith loved to ride motorcycles in the mountains, finding the curviest roads possible. He loved river canoeing, tackling the rapids often into his fifties. He loved baseball and loved to take in minor league and major league games in person whenever possible with family. He was a photography enthusiast and returned home from every trip with rolls of film and digital photos. He loved dogs, (and one cat that liked dogs) keeping from two to seven at any given time, most rescued from their neighborhood. He loved spending time with his family. He also volunteered whenever possible supporting the river clean up, and Sundays at a soup kitchen. After over 30 years as a machinist, he retired from QMF Metal & Electronic Solutions.

In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his brother Dennis Cannon.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Yvonne “Bonnie” Richardson Cannon; two sisters Glenda Roth and Sally Cannon; two stepdaughters, Margo Matthews and Dale Vinesett; one niece and three nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. This memorial will be comprised of sharing memories in comfort. Please feel free to wear casual clothes and bring your favorite stories to share.
