"In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else can fill."
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Keith McClure Marshall, 52, of Clemmons, NC, on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017. He was a loving father and husband, beloved son, faithful brother, cherished uncle, and loyal friend. For the many of us who knew Keith, he was a proud, loving man. Of his many accomplishments, he was most proud of his two sons, Scott and Nate. He loved them deeply, and took great comfort in knowing that they had grown into wonderful young men. Keith was born in Forsyth County and raised in Surry County. He graduated from Surry Central High School and attended UNC-Wilmington. He worked in the electrical contracting industry for over 30 years. He enjoyed his work and spending time with his family and friends. Keith especially enjoyed coaching his sons' baseball teams and his fishing trips to the Outer Banks. He had a huge heart which endeared him to many people. Keith would do anything for those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in passing by his father, Jack D. Marshall Sr. and brother Patrick H. Marshall who have welcomed him home with loving embraces. He is survived by his wife, Carla G. Marshall, and sons Scott and Nate Marshall; mother Martha A. Marshall; brother, Jack D. Marshall Jr. and wife Donna; one sister Cristi Bures and husband Peter; nephew Jack Marshall III; and nieces, Maggie, Anna, Sarah, Taylor Marshall, Katherine and Molly Bures, and Kirstin and Karmen Gardner. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior, 3pm, to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Storehouse for Jesus. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
