Kelly Hutcheson

Ms. Kelly June Hutcheson, 51, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Theatrical and charming to the end, she wants everyone to know “Love! That’s what it’s all about!” (Insert hand flourish) Kelly June was a singer/songwriter, actress/playwright and voice teacher/coach. She loved being a mother, spending time with friends, permaculture gardening, and her dear cats. Born in TX, Kelly lived in Austin and San Antonio; Roanoke, VA; Los Angeles, CA as well as Baltimore, MD and Winston-Salem, NC. Kelly studied/trained at UNCSA, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNCG where she was pursuing a Masters degree in Library Science. Surviving are her children, Eleanor Aiken and David Aiken (Winston-Salem); father, Eldridge Hutcheson and his wife, Ginger Hutcheson (Austin, TX); mother, Janet Hutcheson (Winston-Salem); step-siblings, Jan Beckham Stettler and Lewis Davis. Friends are encouraged to remember her by spreading love and planting something they enjoy. A memorial service will also be held in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem, NC on Saturday, Feb.11th at 2:00pm.
