Kelly Clyde Reavis Sr.

Mr. Kelly Clyde Reavis, Sr., 77, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at his home. He was born in Yadkin County to the late Hershel and Pernie Comer Reavis. Mr. Reavis retired from Lucent Technologies. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church. Mr. Reavis was a seven day Christian and was very dedicated to the Lord, his church, and his family. Surviving is his wife, Betty Reavis of the home; two sons, Kelly Reavis, Jr. and wife Cathy and Jeffrey Reavis all of Lewisville; daughter, Rene Cottingham and husband, Brad of Fuquay-Varina; granddaughter, Kathryn Muhlenkamp and husband, Cameron; two sisters, Jo Ann Steadings and Agnes Hutchins; also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his four legged daughter, ""Lacey."" A funeral service will be held 5:00 PM Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Grapevine Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Comer officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103. On line condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com. Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the Reavis family.
