Mr. Kenneth "Kenny" Bruce Cobbler, 56, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Kenny was born in Forsyth County on August 26, 1960, to the late Roy Lee Cobbler and Anne Hudson Cobbler. He was a member of Central Tabernacle Church in Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by one brother, Perry Cobbler; one sister, Gail Blakely; and his daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Cobbler. He is survived by his son, Joshua Cobbler of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Titus Cobbler and Evana Cobbler; one brother, Ed Cobbler (Pat) of Greensboro, NC; and two sisters, Carolyn Cobbler and Polly Thorpe, both of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Sandra Bovender officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Central Tabernacle Church, 715 Waughtown St. , Winston-Salem, NC 27107 or Sister2Sister International Outreach Ministry, Inc., P.O. Box 20696, Winston-Salem, NC 27120. Kenny was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.
