Kenneth Wayne Keith

OAK RIDGE - Mr. Kenneth Wayne Keith, 78, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Wesley Long Community Hospital. Kenneth was born on September 24, 1935 in Pennsylvania to the late John and Marguirete Port Keith. Ken was an active member of Community Lutheran Church in Summerfield. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at Nagshead. He had a very outgoing personality with a quick wit and will be dearly missed. Surviving are his wife, Mary Keith; three sons, Ken, Joseph, and William; one daughter, Debbie; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Bob and a sister, Jean. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Community Lutheran Church. Interment will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Community Lutheran Church, 4960 US Hwy 220, Summerfield, NC 27358 and Hospice & Palliative Care, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro , NC 27405.
