Kenneth "Ken" Edward Lawson

Mr. Kenneth ""Ken"" Edward Lawson, age 77 of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Ken was born May 23, 1939 in Forsyth County to Joseph Henry Lawson and Lessie Elizabeth Harrison Lawson. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Wooten Lawson. Four sisters and five brothers. Ken is survived by two daughters; Angela Lawson and husband Mike Aguilar of Winston-Salem, Sherry Lawson Cox and husband Joey of Tobaccoville. One granddaughter, Sabrina Lee Baker and one great-grandson, Fletcher Osiris Black. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ken will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church in Winston-Salem by Pastor Gary Styers. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 12:30 P.M. until time of the funeral service.
