Kenneth Wayne Smith, Sr.

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Kenneth Wayne Smith, Sr., 62, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Kenneth was born April 15, 1952, in Fort Smith, AR, to Robert Lee and Nancy Elizabeth Dixon Smith. Kenneth was a loving husband, father and ""PawPaw"" very devoted to his family.

He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Smith; three daughters, Elizabeth White (husband, Tim), Nancy Smith, and Wendy Workman (husband, Danny); three sons, Jerry Smith (wife, Kim), Kenneth Weaver (wife, Joni) and Kenneth Smith, Jr; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his mother, Nancy; a sister, Marcia Robinson; and 2 other sisters and a brother, who live out of state.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, at the funeral home.
