Mr. Kermit George Bickford, 78, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Kermit was born in Branford, CT., to the late George Gilman Bickford and Clara Jane Baird Bickford on February 13, 1940. He was of the Protestant Faith and he retired from S&K Men’s Clothing after many years of service. He enjoyed camping and traveling the world over. Kermit loved wood working and other hobbies that involved his hands. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Michal Bodwell Bickford; daughter, Samantha Bickford of Winston-Salem; son, Colin Bickford and wife Christy of Kernersville; two grandsons, Jacob and Sam. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. Family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Parkway. Online condolences may be sent at www.hayworth-miller.com.
