Kevin Morris

Mr. Kevin Lee Morris, 60, passed away at his home on May 2, 2018. He was born on Nov. 17, 1957 to Mary Harper Morris and Jerry Lee Morris in Wood County, OH. Kevin was employed for 39 years at Lowe's Foods where he worked as a store manager. He was a member of Winston-Salem First. NASCAR, Carolina Panthers, golf, and even yard work were among his favorite hobbies. Rides in the Miata with the top down and his fun-loving, corny jokes will be missed. Most of all, Kevin will be remembered as a man who was devoted to God and family. In addition to his grandparents, Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Morris; and in-laws, Tom and Sue Eads. Surviving are his beloved wife of 39 years, Gay Eads Morris; children, Stefan, Zach, and Haley Morris; grandson, Aiden Cheek; mother, Mary K. Morris; siblings, Jay Morris (Sheila), and Melanie Morris; and a large extended family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sun., May 6, 2018 at Winston-Salem First with Rev. Elwood Rakes officiating. Interment will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens, Wilkesboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Sat., May 5, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
