Kimberly Brannette Mickel

Kimberly Brannette Mickel, 41, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  She was born March 7, 1982, in Forsyth County to Gina Gregory and the late Eddie Mickel.

Many things brought joy to Kimberly’s life, specifically her son, Eric, NASCAR, trips to the beach, the Philidephia Eagles, and anything to do with animals.  She was a brilliant woman who graduated top of her class.  She fought long and hard through many trials and tribulations and we are all relieved to know she’s found peace and is free from pain.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Eric Jalen Mickel of Winston-Salem, NC; brother, Brant Mickel of Germanton, NC; and maternal grandmother, Annette Cheek of Winston-Salem.

No formal services will be held at this time for Kimberly, but in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OCRA, the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
