Krystyna Southern

Krystyna Dydynski Southern completed her journey on earth on February 27th, 2023. She was born on May 21, 1938, in Scranton, PA.  She is survived by her four children, Donna (Giorgina), Christian, Stasia (Victor) and Shawn (Aga); her stepdaughters Katie and Tina; her granddaughter Chelsea (Tyler), her grandson Edje (Emily); and her great grandchildren Trenton and Dallas Mae (Dally).  She is preceded in death by her mother Stella Dydynski (Babci); husband James Southern; her children's father Ned Small, her sister Mary Chachula; her nephew Bernie Chachula; and her stepson Eric Southern.

Krystyna loved to read and over her lifetime she must have read tens of thousands of books. She never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone if she could.  She had a love for animals and had quite a few pets during her life.  She also loved decorating for special occasions, especially Christmas.  Her angel collection was quite large.  Along with the Angels, her candle collection was so substantial that when lit, windows had to be opened in the winter due to the heat.  She is now at peace among the angels.

Krystyna will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
