Kyle Anthony Angell

Kyle Anthony Angell, 61, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Thursday, September 10, 2026. He was born in Forsyth County on December 1, 1964, to the late Nelson and Phyllis Angell. Kyle will be remembered for his dry wit, mischievous spirit, and unique ability to bring a smile and a little laughter to those around him. He loved going to the beach and fishing, as well as hanging out with his friends and family. Kyle was an exceptional cook and was always the man on the grill at the barbeques hosted at him and Tonya’s home. More than anything, Kyle loved his family. He adored his son and grandchildren and would do anything for them. He will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved him.

Kyle is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Angell; his son, Luke Angell (Krissy); two grandchildren, Oakley and Colton Angell; three siblings, Keith Angell (Donna), Karen Angell, and Kim Angell; a sister-in-law, Jackie McCoy (Keith); nieces, nephews, and other extended family members; as well as a special group of friends, Jill McDonough, Jeff Lennon, Todd Sheets, Wesley Prescott, and Scott Robertson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Todd Haley officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00-10:45AM.
