Lanny Gene Simmons

Mr. Lanny Gene Simmons, 66, died on January 21, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. Lanny was born in Forsyth County on June 9, 1950, to George Marion and Mildred Mae Simmons. He graduated from Parkland High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hazel Simmons, and an infant brother. Surviving are four children, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
