Larry Everett Mackie

Larry Everett Mackie a most faithful servant entered the presence of his Lord on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.  Larry was born in Forsyth County to the late Henry Everett Mackie and Malene Bradley Mackie on June 30, 1951.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law Phyllis Mackie.  He is survived by his son and best friend William Lee Duggins "Billy" and wife Amy; granddaughter Kaylee who brought him much happiness; brother Roger Mackie; loved ones Tammy Stainback, Lisa Beach and Heather Cook. As well as his beloved cat Kitty Poo.

Larry was a resident of Walkertown his entire life.  Graduated from East Forsyth. He was employed and retired from RJRT.  Larry was a devout Christian and member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. Larry was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and had a passion for Duke basketball and NY Yankees.

Larry was loved for his kind and generous spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
