Larry Lee Stewart

Mr. Larry Lee Stewart, 67, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He was born May 28, 1948 in Forsyth County to the late Mary Viola George Stewart and James Wilmer Stewart. Mr. Stewart was an avid NASCAR fan. He worked hard all his life. Humbly he shared his time, treasures, and talents for any and everyone. He loved his Lord and Savior, everyone, and never met a stranger. He loved to joke, cut-up, and just be happy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Stewart; niece, Dianne Sutherland; and a brother-in-law, Billy Thomas. Surviving are his three children: Angela Davis, Wendy Butcher (Hersil ""Boss Man""), and Jason ""Jaybo"" Stewart; three granddaughters: Breanna, Sierra, and Samantha; four sisters; two brothers; and his canine companions whom he loved dearly, Ranger and Shorty. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26 at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Styers officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 25 at Liberty Baptist Church.
