Larry Odell Waller

Mr. Larry “Silver Dollar” Odell Waller, 78, passed away Saturday May 24, 2025. He was born February 7, 1947 in Stokes County to the late Ralph Odell Waller and Maeola Eaton Waller. Larry had a life long love for racing of all kinds, but was proudly inducted as a member of the North Carolina Drag Racing Hall of Fame. He was also a fan of golf, and was the proud owner and operator of Old Town Auto Parts. In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by a daughter; Angie Waller, a brother; John Waller, and a sister; Nancy Rogers. He is survived by his loving wife, Marti Waller, a son; Brian Waller, three grandchildren; Morgan Pike, Kelsey Waller, and Tristan Waller, as well as a sister, Norma Ashby. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday June 10, 2025, at College Park Baptist Church in Winston-Salem With Rev. Ramon Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday June 9, 2025 at College Park Baptist Church.
