Lawrence Kenneth "Perk" Greene

Mr. Lawrence Kenneth Greene, ""Perk"" 72, of Winston Salem, NC peacefully passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. Kenneth was born January 7, 1945, in McDowell County, West Virginia to Geneva and Clinton Green. ""Perk"" was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He retired as a Diesel Mechanic. In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching westerns. He loved old cars and going to car shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Green, Don Green and Clayton Green and sister, Jean Toothman.

Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Frances Greene, Cynthia Greene, Dixie Caudill (Randall) and Kimberley Greene; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Vernon Green (Avanell); sisters, Doris Burks and Erma Woods; and special cousin, Timothy Beeman.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6-8pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
