Lawrence Dewitt Ring

Lawrence Dewitt Ring, 87, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem, NC.

He was born on November 3, 1937, in Yadkin County, North Carolina. He worked for many years as a television technician.

Lawrence was an avid NASCAR fan, and also loved camping and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ellis Ring, Sr., and Bessie Brown Ring; sisters, Nancy Lucille Ring and Lorene Ring Willard; and brothers, James Ellis Ring, Jr. (Bill), and Larry Gale Ring.

Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce Swaim Ring; sister, Linda Ring Inman; sisters-in-law, Barbara Ring and Brenda Ring; and faithful dog, Abby.

At his request, there will be no formal service.
