Lee Postove

Lee Postove, 88, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2013. Born in Norfolk, Virginia on May 31, 1924, Lee was a decorated United States Army veteran who served overseas in World War II. He played professional baseball in the minor leagues prior to and following his return from active duty, and then worked in the automotive industry for many years. Following his retirement, he was an active volunteer in the local community. Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Lena and Joseph, three sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his children Jan Postove Ortego of Hammond, LA, Mark Postove of Belleair Beach, FL and Beth Postove Patterson of Clearwater, FL, their mother, Dorothy Propst Postove and grandchildren Greg Ortego and Will Patterson. A private memorial will be held for family members. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Lee's name.
