Lee Ann Tyndall

Lee Ann Tyndall, age 67, passed away at her residence in Kernersville, North Carolina on July 18, 2026. She was born in Burlington, North Carolina on July 16, 1959 to the late R.D. “Dick” Tyndall and Marie Dionne Tyndall. In addition to her beloved parents, Lee was recently preceded in death by her dear sister Deborah “Debbie” Johnson.

Lee is survived by her adored brother, Robert “Bob” Tyndall of Morehead City, NC; her cherished sister, Jean Atwood of Kernersville, NC; her treasured aunt, Doris Laskowicz of Bradenton, FL, and several other precious cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Lee recently retired from her nearly 30 year career as a dedicated sales associate for Belk in Murrells Inlet, SC. Her infectious smile greeted every customer she came in contact with, many of whom were repeat customers who would intentionally seek Lee out just to say hi, see her radiant smile, or catch up on life. Undoubtedly, these interactions would often end with one of Lee’s big hugs.

Lee loved the simple joys of life: dogs, music, chocolate, Christmas, and the beach to name a few. Above all else, Lee deeply loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them. Although she lived at the beach in Surfside and Murrells Inlet for most of her adult life, Lee moved back to North Carolina just over a year ago to live closer to family, where she was recently loved and celebrated on her birthday.

Paraphrasing the words she has said and written to friends and family so many times…..Lee, we love and miss you so very much.

Services will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee’s memory to the Forsyth Humane Society to honor Lee’s endless love for animals.
