LeeAnn Fulton Baker, 31, passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2017. Born in South Korea, LeeAnn came to live with her parents, Linda and Herb Baker at the age of 20 months. Once here, she was surrounded by the love of her parents, grandmothers, Esther Fulton and Frances Baker, plus aunts and uncles, Sheila and John Fox, Anne Adams, Grey and Pat Baker, and Clifton and Teresa Baker, great-aunt Eloise McManus, and numerous cousins.
LeeAnn grew into a beautiful and loving young lady. She loved life and had a way of spreading joy wherever she went. She had a smile that could brighten any day. LeeAnn found good in all those she met. She had a love for God and for all the members of her family. Children loved and responded to her and in recent months LeeAnn had discovered her true calling in working with them.
In addition to her grandmothers, LeeAnn was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Herbert Baker, Sr. and Vernon Fulton. LeeAnn leaves behind her parents, family and many friends who will always cherish wonderful memories. While much could be written about her life, words cannot express what she meant to those who knew her or how much she will be missed.
A celebration of LeeAnn's life will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at 12 noon at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The LeeAnn F. Baker Memorial Fund, The Winston-Salem Foundation, 751 West Fourth Street, Suite 200, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
