Lenola Rynn

Mrs. Lenola "Diddy" Elizabeth Cromer Rynn, 93, of Winston-Salem passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at The Oaks at Forsyth. She was born on November 17, 1923 in Forsyth County to Irvin and Reba Tuttle Cromer. Mrs. Rynn was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church and retired from Western Electric with 35 years of service. She was a loving, caring, and generous person who gave of herself to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Hobert Thomas Rynn; two sisters, Dorothy Styers and Audrey Knouse. Surviving are two brothers, Bill Cromer and wife Mavareen, Norris Cromer and wife Rachel along with numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. David Wood, Rev. Benjamin Webb, and Rev. Jim Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crestwood Baptist Church, 530 Motor Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
