Leonard Reginald Budd Jr.

LEWISVILLE
Mr. Leonard Reginald Budd, Jr., 70, of Lewisville died Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at his home after a long battle with cancer. May he rest in peace. He was born October 15, 1946 in Essex County, MA to the late Leonard Reginald Budd Sr. and Irene Ruth Cleasby Booker. Mr. Budd served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and was a POW for 5-1/2 years. He was awarded the Bronze Star with combat V, the Purple Heart, and the Good Conduct medals. He was a woodworker, enjoyed working at gun shows, and loved his South Carolina fish camp. He was a life member of River Rats, the VFW, and the DAV. Mr. Budd is survived by his best friend and partner, Judi Libby of Lewisville; two sons, Stephen Budd (Theda) of Rotunda West, FL and Andrew Budd (Jess) of Lewisville, NC; four sisters, Connie Vaillencourt (Rick) of Lincolnville, ME, Joyce Plough (Bill)or Catawba, NC, Elaine Dante (Bob) of Statesville, NC and Beth Hollier (Russ) of Slaterville Spring, NY.
