Mr. Leonard Eugene ""Tommy"" Trivette, 87, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 13, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Forsyth Co. on May 6, 1928 the son of the late Francis Odell Trivette and Ida Mae Wall Trivette. Tommy was of the Baptist faith and had retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 41 years of service. After his retirement from R.J.R he worked another 10 years at Big Lots on University Parkway. Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law; Willow Dean and Glenn Rhoades and two brothers; Charlie Trivette and J.W. Trivette. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bea W. Trivette of the home, a daughter; Tina Lawson (Jerry) of Rural Hall, six sons; Steve Trivette (Rita) of Clemmons, Tony Wall (Pam) of Ararat, Tim Wall of Ararat, Lindy Trivette (Cissie) of Ararat, Rusty Trivette of Boonville and Todd Trivette (Carrie) of Yadkinville, 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and two sisters-in-laws; Judy Trivette of Tobaccoville and Peggy Trivette of Norfolk, VA. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Chad Whitley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
