Mrs. Leslie Anne Messersmith, 70, of Winston-Salem, peacefully passed away in the afternoon on July 3rd, 2025.
Leslie was born on July 29, 1954, in Butler County, Ohio, to the late Mr. Charles Zimmey and Mrs. Joyce Zimmey. Leslie left her hometown in Ohio and moved to Texas where she met her future husband. They had 2 children there and then moved to Virginia where they had their last 2 children. In Virginia, she found her passion for real estate and became a successful agent for more than 40 years. Leslie and her family then moved to North Carolina where her passion for crafting and ministry work became her focus.
After retirement, she found a love for stained glass and participated in many craft festivals. Additionally, she enjoyed traveling with friends and family, including cross country road trips, and cruising the Atlantic coast. Leslie and Dan enjoyed patronizing local wineries that became a passion they shared together. Leslie was a loving Wife, Mother, Nona, and Friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
