Mr. Leslie Douglas Wall, 73, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 8, 1942 in Forsyth County, the son of the late, Numa Coy and Nell Morgan Wall. Mr. Wall was a 1960 graduate of Mineral Springs High School. He attended Appalachian State University on an Athletic Scholarship graduating in 1964. He taught math and coached at Griffith High School and North Forsyth High School. He later became involved in the family business, Wall Monument Company. In 2012 he was inducted into the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County High School Hall of Fame. Survivors include his wife, Linda Fesperman Wall of the home; one son, Mark D. Wall and wife, Angela of Germanton; two daughters, Leslie Shannon Wall and husband, Bill McCarthy of Pittsboro and Amanda Wall Smith and husband, Andy of Harrisburg. Five grandchildren, Isabel Louise Wall, twins, Coy Abraham and Lucia Ann Wall and twins, Carter Cadence and Morgan Abigail Smith; one special brother, Larry Edward Wall and wife, Betsy of Boone; one brother-in-law, Gary Fesperman and wife, Mary Jo of Lavonia, GA; and numerous cousins. A private family service was held. The family would like to thank the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their care during this time.
