Leza Ann Norman Dockery

Mrs. Leza Ann Norman Dockery, 87, of Winston-Salem, went Home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born October 11, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late Luther Anan and Lela Jones Norman, and spent all of her life living on the family land on which she was born. She is dearly remembered by her loving husband of nearly 67 years, James W. Dockery; two daughters, Debbie Golden-Alvarez (Mike) of Walkertown, and Lesa Boone (Whit) of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Faye Schofield and Ila Frye. Her son, Joe, and her sister, Jane Stewart, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday, February 24 at 11 a.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with burial to follow in the Dockery Cemetery in Surry County.
