Lillie Dull

Mrs. Lillie Lash Dull, 89, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Lawrence Paul Dull to whom she was married for 45 years. Mrs. Dull was born on June 8, 1928 in Yadkin County to Major and Ema Lash. She graduated from Courtney High School as class Historian. Mrs. Dull was a member of God's family and loved Jesus and God's Chosen People. She was co-owner of Green Acre Nursery with her husband. The nursery was a very important part of her life, and she loved her plants and her customers dearly. Mrs. Dull was a wholesome and classy woman. She was a very warm, good and genuine person and was a generous "silent giver" to those in need. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her siblings: William Tysinger Lash, Dora Lash Stanley, Thelma Lee Lash Hill, Shirley Newbury Lash, Ruby Jane Lash Laplish, John Turner Lash and Norma Jean Lash Jeffries. Surviving family includes her daughter, Donna "Gail" Evans; grandson, William "Paul" Ader; and granddaughter, Sophia Grace Ader. Also surviving is her sister, Willie Faye Miller. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel, with the Rev. William Swisher, the Rev. Will Pryor and the Rev. Bill Hale officiating. Interment will follow the service in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Pino Rd. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
