Lillie McCann Ledford

LEDFORD Mrs. Lillie McCann Ledford, 96, of Winston-Salem, died Friday January 15, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1913 in Surry County to Alexander Chat and Emma Hayes McCann. Mrs. Ledford was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frank Ledford, her brother, Claude McCann and a sister, Kathleen Holt. Surviving are 1 son, William Harold Ledford, Sr. and wife Alta, of Winston-Salem; 1 daughter, Mary Ann Ledford Fulk, of Mt. Airy; 1 sister, Mary Vernon, of Winston-Salem; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Billy James officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
