Lilllian Irene Stone

Mrs. Lillian Irene Harvey Stone, age 84 of Pinnacle, NC passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Stone was born July 30, 1930 in Surry County to Daulphus and Mary Ida Ring Harvey. She was a member of Friends Union Church in Pinnacle and retired from Hanes Hosiery with 33 years of service. Mrs. Stone was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She loved to fish and helping people in her community. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. In addition to her parents Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kenneth Stone, one sister, Kate Starbuck and five brothers; Jim, Raymond, Marshall, Cecil and Richard Harvey. Mrs. Stone is survive by three children; Kenny (Carolyn) Stone of Pinnacle, Susan Lawson of Pinnacle and Ricky Darrell (Penny) Stone of Pilot Mountain. Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two sisters; Lila Brown of Rural Hall and Della Bennett of King. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Stone will be conducted Friday afternoon, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Friends Union Church in Pinnacle by Rev. Danny Hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening November 20th at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
