Linda Butner

Mrs. Linda Chambers Butner, 67, died Friday July 03,2009, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Butner was born in Stokes County on January 31, 1942, a daughter of Arvil Clay and Myrtle Johnson Chambers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Travis Butner. Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Johnson of the home; son, Gary Butner(Lynn); daughters, Terry Hall(Chip), Emily Wallace and Kertrina Surgeon; her precious grandchildren, Dustin Butner, Katie Hall and Rachel Hall; five brothers, Clay, Richard, Tony, John, and Bill Chambers. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held on Monday (7-6-09) at Parklawn Memorial Park, at 11:00 am with Chaplain Eric Lineberry officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
