Linda Cline

Linda Childress Cline, mother and grandmother, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on April 4, 2018 after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and to God supported through her struggles and ultimately gave her peace. She was born December 15, 1948 in Forsyth County to Richard Reed and Virginia Harrell Childress. Linda was blessed and survived by her husband Thomas of 51 years, Thomas Cline; three daughters, LeAnn Moser (Bobby), Robin Hubbell (Jason), and Amanda Nieft (Kenneth); a son, Michael Cline; nine grandchildren, Olivia, Robert, Richard, Caroline, Dillon, Ryan, Aaron, Jacob and Josalyn; five brothers, Richard, Ronnie, Danny, Steve and Kenneth and a sister, Rebecca. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at East Bend Friends Church with Pastor Marty Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Bend Friends Church, 128 Quaker Ave., East Bend, NC 27018 or the Autism Society of NC.
