Linda Walker Crews

Linda Walker Crews, 84, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on July 1, 1941, to the late James and Corinne Gelz Peploe. Linda will be remembered for her charitability; each year she found joy in creating boxes to send to the military as well as sponsoring children in need for Christmas. She retired from American Express and was incredibly hardworking. More than anything, Linda was devoted to the Lord. She was a proud member of Moravia Moravian Church in Oak Ridge for over 24 years. She will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lewis Walker; a sister; three grandchildren; and a step-son, Michael Crews.

Surviving are her loving husband, Tommy Crews; five children, Donna Wilson, Robert Walker, Eddy Walker (Cathy), Douglas Walker (Mary), Jeff Walker (Donna); nine grandchildren, Jesse Walker, Nic Walker, Peyton Riddle (Mike), Jacob Walker (Abbey), Ann Marie Walker, Casey Hardy (Nic), Eric Stevenson, Joshua Stevenson, and Brittany March (Mark); a step-child, Jason Lee Crews; five great-grandchildren; as well as many other extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan Komen Foundation at 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
