Linda Fishel

Mrs. Linda Lou Berrier Fishel entered into the more immediate presence of her Savior on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.  She was born on February 7, 1943 in Forsyth County to James Phillip and Lois Lashmit Berrier.  She had been a member of Fraternity Church of the Brethren and presently a member of Bethania Moravian Church.  She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for Dixie Insurance and retired from Aon Insurance.  She loved flower arranging, needle work, beach and family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, James Calvin Berrier and infant sisters, Jeanette and Dorcas June.  She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Fishel; daughters, Beverly Ludwick and Cheryl Fishel; sons, Chuck Fishel (Ginger) and Jeff Fishel (Tami); sister-in-law, Louise Berrier; grandson, Adam; granddaughters, Mindy (Jason) and Mallory (Chris); great grandchildren, Trevor, Avery, Vera and Joseph; niece, Tina (Dave); nephew, Calvin (Tammy); great niece, Brandy; and great nephew, Will (Ashlyn).  The funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Bethania Moravian Church with The Rt. Rev. Lane Sapp and Rev. David Kindy officiating.  Burial will follow in Fraternity Church of the Brethren Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethania Moravian Church, 5545 Main Street, Bethania, NC 27010 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
